平權史裏程碑。聯係到數次提及的Auschwitz，或可將整部劇看成（情境化、流動性的）“異類”在體係內抗爭的象徵。鬥爭的艱難既來自representational systems（性嚮-族裔-階層）的聯閤壓迫，又來自少數者對existing discourses的自覺/不自覺依附（劇中Mayor和同性戀群體都在利用“量化”思路、“主流-異類”範疇對立）。值得關注的一點：medical industry("the structure of cure")和scientific experiment("mad scientists, research fanatics, who will try almost anything and if you die you die")其實都造成非人化睏境。

太多淚流滿麵的段落。這不隻是一種疾病，更是整個社會對同性戀建立在冷漠基礎上的霸淩。我想我能理解為什麼Larry Kramer變得那麼周身利刺，炮轟所有盟友：Cause we're not doing enough! We're not angry!
