OUP should've known better to hire the same person to write on both modernism and postmodernism.

喜欢写艺术史的部分（还有大尺度图片2333），毕竟哲学病患者一般想起post就只是福柯德里达，可以补课。后现代for and against本来应该是个重要的issue，可惜作者想三言两语干掉实在是太近乎黑屁了（即使我同情作者一部分判断）

这本书是这套丛书里含金量非常高的一本，直接改变了我认为理论性通识读本中Oxford逊色于Routledge的看法。这本书的作者有成为独立理论家的潜质，他的核心立场是：后现代主义是最好的解构者，也是最差的建构者。由于它自身含有诸多无法解决的矛盾，所以它的时代已经过去，它必将遭到下一代的质疑和针对于它的理论更新。
