With humorous sagacity and consummate craft, García Márquez traces an exceptional half-century story of unrequited love. Though it seems never to be conveniently contained, love flows through the novel in many wonderful guises--joyful, melancholy, enriching, ever surprising.

加西亚•马尔克斯（Gabriel García Márquez）

1927年出生于哥伦比亚马格达莱纳海滨小镇阿拉卡塔卡。童年与外祖父母一起生活。1936年随父母迁居苏克雷。1947年考入波哥大国立大学。1948年因内战辍学，进入报界。五十年代开始出版文学作品。六十年代初移居墨西哥。1967年《百年孤独》问世。1982年获诺贝尔文学奖。1985年出版《霍乱时期的爱情》。

读后感

我不读书已经多年。前些天，一个朋友，我们时代最好最出色的写字者之一，向我推荐马尔克斯的小说《霍乱时期的爱情》。以前曾经读过《百年孤独》，被马尔克斯魔幻得虽然震撼但是迷糊。本以为《霍乱》也是一路货色。可是，据说，在《霍乱》中“他果断放弃了“魔幻现实”的拿手好...  

“一生一世。” 合上《霍乱时期的爱情》这本书时，我仿佛看到马尔克斯在角落里偷笑。 两年前读完这本书，就觉得有哪里不对。再读一次，彻底感觉被马尔克斯耍了——这本所谓的“爱情的百科全书”，哪里是在写爱情呀。 一个叫佛洛伦蒂诺•阿里萨的文艺青年，看上了一个叫费...
