好書，的確不錯。但翻譯的仍是有點問題。不過據我瞭解這實際是上海譯文在上世紀八十年代的版本再版的。比如說Mercedes就被翻譯成默塞地斯，但現在都叫作梅塞德斯。還有就是在第73頁有一個詞：塔奇·瑪哈爾，我相信絕大多數的人都不知道是什麼，我也不知是什麼，看瞭注釋纔明白...

1 多綫敘事，或者說POV技法。很好地展示瞭主角們的行為和內心情感。 2 行業小說，機場的事務描述很專業，有一定的時代性。 3 故事發生在暴風雪的幾個小時內，緊湊豐富，跌宕起伏，人物多而不亂。 4 半開放結局，意猶未盡。空姐是否無恙？機長是否會對空姐和腹中胎兒有態度轉變？機場總經理的職業處境如何？

So hard to read through an English book like this. I couldn't fully understand the story but a piece by piece broken stories. By guessing the unknown words and half-understanding the rest words, Ive understood 30 percent of what the author was trying to deliever.
