数学教学有时竟演变成空洞的解题训练，这种训练虽然可以提高形式推导的能力，但却不能导致真正的理解与深入的独立思考。 我20年来所受的的教育，别人70年前就知道错了。  

记得小学时候数学一直挺好，那女数学老师也很温柔漂亮，语文差得很，班主任的男语文老师用万年青树枝打我手心的印象还很深，初中一次语文倒是彻底的逆袭，没来由的突然考了个年级第一，而数学却又一直陪伴我，以过线的高考数学，过线的考研数学勉强互不碍眼的相伴了十几年。 这...  

我觉得副标题非常的贴切。 初等数学的脉络讲解的非常清晰，对解决问题的思想方法分析的简洁、深刻。我以为能把事情用简单的方式叙述出来都是要么非常花费功夫，要么就是领域中的大师——正如《Programming Pearls》和《 The C Programming Language》，薄薄一本书，值得翻来覆...

众里寻它千百度，蓦然回首，那书却在书架角落处。

An excellent help in understanding and exploring and using.Mathematics more effectively.

断断续续浏览了2个多月，主要目的是回顾一下学过的数学和学习数学语言的英文表达。经典数学科普之作，选材经典，解说经典，很有一点数学史的感觉。

从数论，到射影几何、非欧几何，到拓扑学的心里路程依次是：“啊这个竞赛学过，好怀念”，“数学好有趣，好厉害，教练我要学数学！”，“等等，这是什么鬼，为什么我什么都看不懂”，“呵呵，我觉得我还是比较适合上文科”。。

我实话实说我没读完，我智商不够
