两位作者都来自CS专业，在优化领域享有崇高地位，都是SIAM的Fellow。这本书主要讲连续优化，理论性很强，从最简单的牛顿法，梯度，再到有约束的优化问题中的对偶，KKT，单纯性等方法，最后再到非线性领域的罚函数和内点法，一气呵成，看的不光是数学，也是优化领域的发展史。 ...

是我们最优化的参考书，这学期正在读。 相比袁亚香的非线性优化计算方法，这本书不仅仅有详细的理论分析，算法给的也很全。而袁的书有些侧重于理论部分。这本书读起来也相对于袁较容易。 国外的书总是给人一种娓娓道来的感觉，觉得作者是真真正正给你再讲，并不是机械的将知识...

惭愧当时学的时候没有好好学，感觉这本教材很权威也有难度，信赖域算法就一直没理解。

这是我读过的最容易跟上的优化书籍。比 Boyd 那本好读多了。
