是我們最優化的參考書，這學期正在讀。 相比袁亞香的非綫性優化計算方法，這本書不僅僅有詳細的理論分析，算法給的也很全。而袁的書有些側重於理論部分。這本書讀起來也相對於袁較容易。 國外的書總是給人一種娓娓道來的感覺，覺得作者是真真正正給你再講，並不是機械的將知識...

兩位作者都來自CS專業，在優化領域享有崇高地位，都是SIAM的Fellow。這本書主要講連續優化，理論性很強，從最簡單的牛頓法，梯度，再到有約束的優化問題中的對偶，KKT，單純性等方法，最後再到非綫性領域的罰函數和內點法，一氣嗬成，看的不光是數學，也是優化領域的發展史。 ...

數值優化領域的力作。寫的非常好。Nocedal和wright在優化領域有著豐富的經驗和知識，在第一版的基礎上增強瞭二十一世紀前幾年的最新進展，內點法。算法流程清晰，原理清楚。適閤學生和研究者參閱。
