无产阶级革命边缘的美国……文笔很好，但是作者当年对人民团结起来就是力量一些过于美好的幻想，就像今天某些人对自由民主必然就是正途的幻想一样，有些幼稚了

大师之作。读到最后简直是如饥似渴地读完。非常规整的双线写作，一章描写The Joads，一章用omniscient pov来写整个大萧条年代。两条线的语言完全不一样。六百多页的对话全都是very colloquial tone…估计中文翻译不出这种神韵。斯坦贝克的语言风格也非常鲜明，导致我现在很害怕看到单引号…后半段的时候高潮迭起，希望和绝望交织。绝对的大师之作。

John Steinbeck是一个伟大的作家。那些被垮掉一代洗了脑以为横穿美国66号公路有多浪漫的文艺青年都该用这本书打脸。
