Carr关于国际政治的代表作之一，本书虽然不是为提出理论而作，却一针见血的指出了当时国际政治不切实际的基础，可以视为后来现实主义发展的序幕曲，自然也是国际政治的必读书。
评分这学期802读的第一本书，电子版，由于时间紧张，读得太粗，但的确是一本好书。
