He is Breed Professor of Design Emeritus at Northwestern University and Professor Emeritus at the University of California, San Diego, where he was founding chair of the Department of Cognitive Science and chair of the Department of Psychology. He has served as Vice President of Apple Computer's Advanced Technology Group, and his many books include "Emotional Design," "The Design of Future Things," and most recently, "Living with Complexity."

又看了遍英文版的，用词真是浅显好懂。。。

是有很多有趣的观点让人很受启发，而且在去英国玩之前刚好在读这本书以至于在旅行途中会格外关注而更加能欣赏英国公共场所各种标识和设施设计的巧妙便利，也让各种让人无力吐槽的水龙头变得更加乍眼。从让人拓宽视野，用不同的角度看世界这个方面来评判，是一本值得阅读的好书，尤其是我也没怎么读过设计的书，满以为设计都是以审美为基础的狭义的设计。读过这本书之后，才耳目一新。可是阅读体验实在说不上享受，自己大概也是急性子，而这本书则事无巨细的写很多细节实例，通过各种语言，图片全方位描绘说明某种汽车上一个仪表盘的设计有多么糟糕。书里满是这样的细碎的实例，每次读一会儿自己的耐心就消磨殆尽，所以终于也还是没有读完。
