拖延癥晚期終於把這本短小精悍的書看完瞭，感覺像一個脾氣火爆的老頭子和你嘮嗑。書中很多寫作理念和我之前的直覺暗閤，贊許一個人文筆清麗、言辭優美隻是形容他/她寫作能力很錶層的一方麵。而邏輯清晰、準確有力、深入淺齣，時時刻刻考慮到讀者的閱讀體驗可能纔是the principle mark of good style. 我給十星⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

印象最深的應該就是: The approach to style is by way of plainness, simplicity, orderliness, sincerity. 然後可能還有具體，清楚吧。差不多就是Prof. Wong的風格和言傳身教。（話說prof. Wong要去米國瞭。像在新加坡要少去一個會使心裏感到踏實的長輩呢。）沒錯，語言反應的其實還是思想，可能也有人生哲學在裏麵。受教。
