很渊博的作品，其思路是想将关于文艺复兴理解的史学演变，和时代相互联系在一起。整体来说，完成度还可以，但对于时代的切入仍然觉得没有想象中那么好，许多东西还主要是史学史的内容。当然，这份工作相当相当不容易。关于“12世纪文艺复兴”的解读与演变，迄今大约200年，当作如是观。

其实我要说，作者的分类逻辑不是特别清晰，相同的内容有时会在不同的章节出现，比如romanticism和neo-romanticism的作者区分地就不是很明确，后者会在前者里出现，但是直到讲后者的时候才说前者局限在18世纪末到19世纪初。Va be。在论述上也比较无力。但是看在作者要看那么多无聊大部头文章的情况，怎么也要同病相怜一下，我不想被人说无情冷酷而且说不定跟这个同行有一样的毛病啊，科科。
