The book is written in a direct, lucid style which engages the reader with the themes in an active, participatory manner.

這書實在太好 - 從形上學開首的名句起頭解釋所有亞裏斯多德哲學的重要麵嚮。其中談邏輯一章基本上是他的另一本作品 Aristotle's Logical Theory 的簡化版，同樣值得推薦。Lear 這幾年不作亞裏斯多德轉嚮心理分析去瞭，雖然同樣有敏銳度，但照我看不及他早些年這些著作來得好。
