搬家时听的另一本小说，总的来说挺好，适合无脑听，除了结尾部分还是太好莱坞了。

我还真在一天半内读完了这本小说。Absolutely a page-turner！作为作者的第一本小说真的很不错。Carl的故事很吊人胃口。觉得男主有些轻脑壳，但联系他的过去也可以理解他迫切想要帮助Carl的心情，还觉得他不该保释他的酒鬼老妈，但他可能还是出于对外公死的内疚，而且他也一直无法直面要自己照顾自闭症弟弟的责任。故事里的每个人都有着不为人知的过去，正应了题目“the life we bury”。边看边联想到去年很火的播客节目“Seral”，可惜节目中的Arden到最后也没有正式豁免。Carl对雪的喜爱与期待我也特别有感触，我也是那么地喜欢雪，却来到这个从不下雪的地方生活，但正如“Heaven could be here on Earth”，我们应更留心身边那些被我们忽略的温暖。
