"prison-form" as "the analyzer" of power relations against 4 kinds of power conceptualizations. 2. a methodological understanding: Foucault's archaeological and genealogical (more emphasized) analyses embodied in these lectures.

福柯每本書都信息量巨大，每一章都夠消化很久，這個係列的譯者注釋也超級棒！這本和D&P聯係十分緊密，D&P是關於institutions of confinement，這本則關於institutions of sequestration/normalization，二者都是hyper power的體現，但後者則更體現瞭power對我們生活方方麵麵的影響，藉由morals對judicial system的介入，我們每個人、每一天都受製於這張power的網（power的日常性）。在這本書末尾，福柯還講解瞭power的流動性，它並不受既得利益階層完全控製，而是一種流動的interplay，每一天我們的生活裏都在進行著這種civil war（每日每夜的戰鬥！）
