以前覺得精裝書正統嚴肅厚重僵硬。而這本書的裝幀舒服，內容怡人，居然由此喜歡精裝書瞭。雖然連著讀瞭幾天纔讀完，但過足瞭捧著精裝書的精緻閱讀的感覺，甚至覺得那幾天的生活都被蕾絲化瞭。

Too long - Austen's longest I think. To be moving so slowly in the first 45 chapters, then to resolve all the suspense in the last 3! I quite like the Crawfords. Though vain, selfish and flippant, they are shrewd observers capable of admiring moral goodness. Mary is the only funny one among the bunch! She and Edmund don't deserve each other!
