Chris Anderson is the curator of TED. 演讲，对于有些人而言，是非常困难的一件事情，面对大众讲话成为了最需要克服的一件难事，然而我觉得对于敢在大众面前侃侃而谈的人来讲，却是更加需要学习的一件事情，因为工作的需要，我接触过很多大大小小的演讲，有的如裹脚布一般絮叨无趣，有的短小精悍，有的全程引人瞩目...

对于喜欢TED节目的人，这本书既介绍了很多幕后的故事，又提供了很完整的TED演讲的技巧。我自己很少看TED所以读这书只是因为对演讲的技巧感到好奇。作者提供的技巧有不少局限性。很多内容只限于在TED talks里面使用，不太好应用到其他的演讲中。书没读对，所以这是不是好书，我没法评价

可能以硅谷的科技工作者为首的理工学科出身的人，都有世界会被科技改变得更好的崇高理想。比如最后一章说，互联网让大家能接收到跟自己长久以来持有观点相反的论调，有助思考——这本书16年出的，接下去几年的故事每天都在打脸这个论点。我这人没什么理想，就是觉得听到科技工作者的崇高理想容易起鸡皮疙瘩。

I don't like the narrator for the audio book at all.. who is the author himself. He has terrible terrible accent.
