故事是好故事，但是太多不认识的单词了，而且个人觉得总体不太连贯。更喜欢偷书贼那种叙事一些

两条线索穿插，两条本在平行空间的生命线最终交汇，结构安排挺有巧思，但轰炸圣马洛往后的故事在全书中七零八碎，本来有的紧张感每次都被打断，并没有很明白这样处理的意义。作者有感于今天更即时也更取消距离感的交流方式，写下上个世纪由无线电信号织构的连结网络，那个世界是看不到也不要紧的。就像女主，就像紧闭在头颅内的大脑（收音机播音中提到），即使窅然无光也能创造一道无光的光、一片没有光源的天地、一种无需会面的相识；而在宝石和战争的那一面，同样的不可见（无可凭依的传说，关于血统和伟业的幻念）又能勾摄出攫取的欲望、无妄的狂热。

以二战为背景的历史虚构小说，语言抒情化,双线叙事，男女视角交叉进行，时间线来回跳跃。非典型性爱情故事, 本不该有交集的法国盲女与德国士兵在战争中相遇，没有被异化的青年选择以人性对抗国家机器。但更多被战争改写命运的青年，在战后成了被遗忘的群体，没人负责，孤独终老。不管是国家还是个人，对战争的反思好像都不太够
