先说在豆瓣上看到的某评论笑了半天：“大家都是猪的话，还搞啥人类学”，非常精辟地指出了这本书的限制：以therapeutic governance概括政府、传统思想、心理治疗行业合谋掩盖power在精神疾病中起到的作用，将精神病阐释为个体的科学问题——自然有其解释力。但是，作者有点野心太大了，试图用一个本身不太完美的理论框架（对于governance的理论引证太缺乏论述）涵盖现代中国的精神问题（抑郁症、精神分裂、青少年网瘾、双相障碍、妇女更年期……），显然太难。其田野资料太少，明显没有和精神病人和大夫取得信任，案例少、聊得也不深，像病人抱怨得不到医生足够时间这种案例实在没什么特殊的地方。最可惜的是，作者已经摸到了社会转型与人心的关系，但是没有展开论证，却用了6、7节讲心理疗法和儒家、于丹……

太糟糕了，陈述事实的书籍绝非学术作品，搞笑的是作者竟然试图在一本书里试图涵盖抑郁症、精神分裂、青少年网瘾、双相障碍、妇女更年期、还有吸烟上瘾、上访焦虑、女性变瘦焦虑等众多模糊的“心理疾病”，试图通过儒释道来分析一些本土的心理治疗术-疏导疗法、思想工作、沟通治疗、极其女性向的自助团体、心灵鸡汤。杨洁说中国的therapatic governance1基于历史；2包含非正规诊断；3污名化；4加剧性别和阶级不公；5直入心灵；6商业化严重；7将传统用作治理工具。然而我更感兴趣的仍是作者能否抓住psychologize/medicalize dviance这个本质？Chris
