幸虧不是“煩人”，雖然我相信很多人讀這本書的感覺都不會非常愉悅。買這本書確實是機緣巧閤，早上剛在google reader裏加上瞭“瞳孔中央”的博客，無意間掃到一句關於《凡人》的話，晚上就在三聯書店裏閑逛間瞄到瞭這本書，非常喜歡這樣簡潔利落的封麵（中譯版保持統一風格），...

Every flash back is a cruel bewilderedness that simulates the downward spiral of obstinate despondency of death. Roth’s masterful portrait of the old man resonates with my grandma who I never grasped a chance to say goodbye. How did she spend her last few days? was she regretful or rather was she content ? I don’t know and never will I anymore T T
