作 者[美] 雷德•海斯蒂（Reid Hastie）毕业于加州大学圣迭戈分校和耶鲁大学，在哈佛大学开始其学术工作，积极寻求校外研究的机会，在医院和法庭中展开关于医疗和法律决策的研究。他的研究兴趣在于认知心理学的方法和理论在判断决策方面的应用。他终生致力于现实情境中的研究，包括医疗决策、法律决策、天气预报、消费者和商业金融决策等领域。罗宾•道斯（Robyn M. Dawes）1958年获得哈佛大学哲学学士，后进入密歇根大学临床心理学系。两年后，他怀着对行为决策、社会互动和态度测量的兴趣进入了数学心理学系（1963 年获得博士），并在数学方面完成了研究生教育。1985年秋转到卡耐基梅隆大学，在社会和决策科学系担任心理学教授，他现在是Charles J. Queenan，Jr. 大学的教授。道斯发表过150 多篇论文、出版了6 部书籍。译 者谢晓非北京大学心理学系教授，博士生导师。浙江大学心理学系硕士，中国科学院心理研究所博士，研究领域为组织行为学和人力资源管理，在培训、风险决策与判断方面承担多项国家自然科学基金项目，参与王晓田博士领导的美国国家自然科学基金“Division of Decision Risk and Management. Risky Choices in Social and Cultural Contexts ”。李纾中国科学院心理学研究所社会与工程心理学研究室研究员，博士生导师。浙江大学心理系硕士，澳大利亚新南威尔士大学（University of New South Wales）博士。研究领域为“确定、不确定及风险状态下的行为抉择”。

读后感

人类的理性再一次傍上了贝叶斯定理，数学又一次拯救了愚蠢的人类。整本书比较有用的个人觉得还是贝叶斯定理和决策树，二者的结合可以帮助大家做出比较理智的决策和判断。书中较多的例子也是大家生活中耳熟能详的实例，翻译个人认为已经很不错了。  

八 理性思考不确定性 概率分析最基本的规则是，告诉人们在分析过程中要从全局视角审视情景，然后定义一个包含所有可能事件的样本空间，并确定这些事件之间的逻辑关系。以上步骤就是理性分析和那些以可用性、相似性、情景构建为基础的判断的分歧所在：当我们根据直觉进行判断时...  

这周的第一个主题是昨天谈到的：学习是相关的。 我们可以将其延伸至很多方面，比如，学习是相关的，它不仅是学科之间的所谓知识点关联，更重要的是它与人生的关联度，与现实的关联度，与生活和职场的关联度等等。 其实不仅是最热的STEM教育在倡导这种相关性，还有很多方面的趋...  

翻译的太过生涩，不少逻辑上和概率论上的东西没有翻译好。想必译者应该没有太多的这方面的知识。如果学过概率论再来看这本书，反而觉得这部书有点像是科普知识了，因为用的都是概率论课本的第一章的知识。不过里面的一些建议的确很有用处。概率论，微积分和离散数学才是理解世...

Decision science 老师让读的的教材，很难读，边读边睡
