出生于浙江温州，原籍福建长乐

作家、诗人、学者、翻译家

一生著述颇丰，有专著《文学大纲》《中国文学论集》《中国俗文学史》等

小说《家庭的故事》《取火者的逮捕》《海燕》等

译著《飞鸟集》《新月集》《灰色骂》等
