Major Dick Winters个人的战争回忆录。因为他一路就是从E连升上去的，所以基本上和兄弟连的故事是一致的。Embrose写书用的材料就是Winters提供的，所以有很大一部分重合。但还有很多Winters自己的故事，自己的体会。看完最大的感受就是，Dick Winters是个圣人，真的是个圣人。严于律己，在一线带兵打仗，lead by example，不喝酒，谦逊。别人都出去玩喝酒的时候，他在研读战术书。在英国最放松最喜欢的时候是教堂里。补充了一些兄弟连里没提到过的细节，还有兄弟连电视剧出来以后的一些事。最后一章讲领导力，很朴实很直观的经验谈，非常有用。另外看Major Winters自己谈好友Nixon，全程捂着狗眼，简直闪瞎。

安布罗斯的书加上温校本人的回忆录让我体会到什么是做人做事的典范。温校可以说是一个完美到令人难以置信的人，无论是职业生涯还是生活作风都是教科书级别的。感谢温校以及他所领导的E连，他们的存在真的很鼓舞人。
