早先看瞭BBC紀錄片，對自閉癥有一定瞭解，所以這本書收獲不是特彆大。結構和內容組織挺鬆散的，而且現階段科學對自閉癥瞭解太少瞭（對人腦和意識瞭解也太少瞭），有的隻是理論、猜測、假設。當時對自閉兒童沒有Mentalization（theory of mind）能力這個特點特感興趣,作者用挑剔的美食傢、忙碌的廚師以及往返於兩者間的侍者來構建一個大腦top-down理論，最後得齣結論：自閉大腦似乎沒有“自我”，這個很有意思，因為我也是這麼看待自閉癥一些癥狀的....所以說自我到底是什麼呢？還有一個思考是關於正常和異常，高智商和低能的——自閉的大腦往往凸顯齣一些常人無法企及的能力，但這些齣眾能力明明是正常秩序被打破的結果，這算天賦還是算垃圾？正常還有沒有自己的立足之地瞭？
