社科必读吧 可惜本人愚昧 被课业强制要求的读起来也是寡淡无味了

赞同豆友Isabella的观点，第四章包含许多关乎经济以外的发展论题的思考，其中个人比较感兴趣的是naturalism和Psycho-cultural Theories of Modernization两段。另外在第二部分非传统发展理论中，马克思和社会主义理论和女权主义理论也值得一读。

此书的全名应该是theories of development: contentions, arguments, alternatives.个人认为值得一读的是第四章，发展是不是仅仅经济问题的讨论，涉及平衡发展（balance)问题。
