Two plots, one allegorical, one remains in realism. Chapter one sets the stage, while two, four, six, eight recount/demystify the religious fable, three, five, seven, nine pivot on the location of self. Particularly love how the semiotic father gets entangled with the imperial son in Saladin's story. 父子母題總如幽靈般隱秘於男性族裔文本中。
