作者簡介：格雷姆•法米羅（Graham Farmelo ），畢業於劍橋大學理論物理專業，倫敦科學博物館的高級研究員，英國東北大學物理係的兼職教授。

譯者簡介：蘭 梅，北京人，外交學院外交英語專業和澳大利亞Charles Sturt大學畢業；曾任職於中華人民共和國外交部和意大利濛塞拉特基金會北京辦事處。近年從事展覽與文化項目策劃並主持藝術與科學跨學科交流機構“關係社”www.guanxihouse.org，主要譯著有《量子怪傑：保羅•狄拉剋傳》 《嚮死而生：萊昂內大傳》等。

審校者簡介：季燕江， 北京人，執教於北京科技大學理論物理係，曾在美國華盛頓特區進修，講授量子力學，多體理論，自然科學史等課程。對科學論文的開放獲取（open access）及科學文化感興趣，曾創辦國內第一個開放獲取平颱——奇跡文庫http://www.qiji.cn/eprint，是網絡版“量子物理教程”的編寫者，此次慷慨撥冗審校本書的專業概念和術語，貢獻良多。
