纸本书入手。这几年我已经搜集了坊间出版的各主要医疗疾病史教材。在我看来，相对于”Health, Diseae and Society in Europe" 系列教材，李尚仁老师翻译的欧洲医疗五百年或者张大庆老师主译的剑桥系列的疾病史和医学史而言，该书围绕“疾病、世界史和现代性”展开，是目前最好的、最可操作的教材。如果能翻译成中文出版，肯定能对国内医疗史的发展有所裨益。
