在德国旅行的途中看完了这本书，在旅途中送给了遇见的老同学，还算清晰的历史梳理，但这里的西方仅指英美而已，不可概全。

很值得一读，简洁明了。作者应该有对规划理论的深入了解，并且有比较高的书写水准。对于一本讲述理论的著作来说，不卖弄、不罗嗦是很难得的。作者对看待理论研究的态度，尤其值得推荐。
