還沒有正式齣版的中譯本，隻看瞭英文版，很多細節沒看懂。不過覺得還是很像少年Pi這本書的風格啊，很多隱喻。結尾的突轉運用也很好。米蘭昆德拉的那句關於記憶的名言挺契閤這本書的。書還是有點晦澀吧。正準備讀第二遍。如果能看到更多的關於這本書的分析就好瞭。

最後Gustav的game cards也太沉重瞭????Martel對細節的刻畫太傳神瞭…taxidermist的那個笑容詭異到瞭骨子裏

大概小半年纔看完有部分pace太拖遝結尾很精彩印象最深的部分居然是作者對梨的描寫

The pace didn't quite work for me as it dragged midway through and the drastic turn toward the end came from nowhere. Once again bewitched by the author's ability to use seemingly simple words and an utterly detached tone to bring readers to tears. And, it has the most wonderful description about a pear I've ever read in any book, given the circumstances around the scene. "Those who carry a knife and a pear are never afraid of the dark."
