作為2010年普利策非虛構奬的獲奬作品。《死亡之手》還是配得上一流的紀實文學這樣的評價的。這也是給他打瞭四星的原因。當然少的一星也很明確：倒不是常見的翻譯問題（這本書中文翻譯還算流暢的），屁股的確有點歪。這本書買瞭挺長時間瞭，一直跟舊書購入收藏的《原子彈秘史》...

Love the parallel story telling on the nuclear and chem/bio weapon front. Riveting account on the unraveling of the Cold War arms race. I also like the way the author managed to remind the readers at the reoccurrence of specific names of who they are and what they do. The effort to glorify Americans in this epic history is somewhat disappointing.
