O'Reilly齣的類似這種Cookbook的參考書，我還買過C#和Actionscript兩種語言的。風格大體相似，都是選用一些使用中會碰到的問題，然後提齣解決方案。談不上有多深，但是非常實用。尤其是對初學者，往往書中的一個例子，會讓你少走半天彎路。但是不推薦作為最開始的入門教程。...

這本書講的比較全麵，講解清晰，適用於有些R經驗的讀者直接選擇自己需要的部分來查閱。初學者不妨先看看the art of R programming，因為the art of R programming 更為注重R programmming 裏的基礎部分，特彆是數據結構。 R cookbook 裏麵 time series 講的很好。如果需要用R ...

涉及很多與R有關的案例，可以當作手冊來查詢，但案例比較簡單，想要深入理解並靈活運用的話，還是要查看涉及到的函數的文檔，多多練習。另外，在學習R的過程中，一個體會就是如果統計學功底紮實的話，上手很快，也很容易從一本書過渡到另外一本書。
