主萬這個譯者的特點是囉嗦。正因如此，《洛麗塔》裏敏銳又幽默，貴族氣息濃厚的納博科夫，也就被他翻成瞭囉囉嗦嗦的老年學究。不過，放到《荒涼山莊》裏，這樣囉嗦的行文風格反而和作者對上瞭號——應該說是一部分——狄更斯就愛使用長句，譯者主萬的弱點也就不太突齣瞭。但是...
