魯賓斯坦對經濟理論的現實應用持否定態度，但這不失為一種新的理解經濟學的角度，他自己或許生活中活得更自在。印象中熊彼特也是純粹喜歡經濟學而研究經濟學（類似“為藝術而藝術”），不是因為它能做什麼而去學。就是覺得它美。
