彼得•布鲁克（Peter Brook）

出生于伦敦，牛津大学硕士，大学期间他创建了牛津大学电影社。他曾在皇家莎士比亚剧院（Royal Shakespeare Company）担任导演，现在他领导着位于巴黎的国际戏剧研究中心（International Centre of Theatre Research）。

他执导的电影有《蝇王》（Lord of the Flies）、《李尔王》（King Lear）、《与杰出人士相遇》（Meeting with Remarkable Men）。

他还执导了歌剧《费加罗的婚礼》（The Marriage of Figaro）、《鲍里斯•戈都诺夫》（Boris Godunov）（伦敦寇文花园剧院[Covent Garden]）和《浮士德》（Faust）、《叶甫盖尼•奥涅金》（Eugène Onegin）（纽约大都会歌剧院[Metropolitan Opera]）。

他的著作包括《空的空间》（The Empty Space，1968年）、《流动的视点》（The Shifting Point，1987年）。
