题目我翻译为“史之用与史之弊”。 课上犯困。讲到monumental, antiquarian, critical三种史观，分别是从三种心理（？）得来。美国同学问“为什么生命要preserve”。我想起了中国传统文化中比比皆是的例子，却不知道如何回答。 我想成为历史学者，这近似第三种史观；其中一个原因是我记忆与记录的本能，这又近似于第一种史观；中国传统有很多第二种史观的东西，因其历史悠久也有第一种史观。尼采持一种进步的观点，如果原地踏步等于没有在生活，而三种历史观都是为真正的生活服务，三种过量都要不得。

评分Too much history ruins instinct for life. The horizon should be limited; illusion is necessary to hold up to values and avoid annihilation. Life is higher than knowledge; any klg that destroys life destroys itself at last. No laws in history; reflect on genuine needs and organize the chaos within us to create a culture - a new and improved nature.
