小說比電影好多了, 剛剛開始讀的時候就覺得有點伍爾夫的味道, 結果果然如此. 結尾重演60多年前得那場戲很感人, 物是人非.

Briony made stupid and obstinate mistake on the hottest day in a summer, accusing innocent Robbie, her sister's lover, of raping her cousin and putting him in jail for three years. She managed to unit their love after the WWII through a fantasy novel as her atonement. Cruel truth is, Robbie died during in the war and Cecelia got bombed in a clinic.

从09年看到现在总算看完了。知道了情节后就更没动力看下去，其实写得挺一般的，只有第二部分Briony在医院守护伤兵的描写令我特别感动，也可能是我越来越看不了小说了。
