此書看得不快，看的時候常常對比心中原有對英國人的印象，也與國人行為同時作著對比。結論是：他們最大的特點是“虛僞”，“言不由衷”，“內嚮”，大概是曆史“太悠久”，殖民曆史也長的關係。還是我們好，嗬嗬。。。

這本書是在跑步機上讀完的。不知道究竟是我已被西方文化荼毒得太厲害，還是上海真的是一個國際化大都市，總之作者自豪地聲稱為絕大多數“英國人特有的品質”在我眼裏看來幾乎都是“地球人都這樣”，總之各種井底之蛙之見。另外作者聲稱自己是人類學傢，卻覺得同行那樣穿獸...
