This thorough presentation of Attic Greek assumes that college students learning the language deserve, from the beginning, full exposure to all the grammar and morphology that they will encounter in actual texts. 學過一遍Greek和基本的PIE的發展之後 再來看 很多細節的關於語言曆史和發展的解釋就很幫助對語言本身的理解 而不是枯燥的語法。
评分作為入門讀物還是不錯的，作者有點語言學考據癖，不過該有的語法點都齊備。

评分非常齣色的一本希臘語教材。還是要背誦，記憶，使用。不過在可以獨自翻譯幾條古代希臘的箴言，念齣他們念齣過的詩句的時候，那種體驗到的感覺還是很奇妙的。
评分當年就是靠這本書和美麗的希臘女教師入的門，內容好，感情深。5+1星。
