所謂從一個社會行為主義者的視角來談，就看如何把gesture這個概念打通，讓它操作化。心靈、自我與社會，隻是拆解這個操作化過程的階段和不同側麵。剝離掉錶徵意涵，gesture就變成瞭社會交往的一種“未完成”，成為關係綫索凝聚的單元。睏難與要害所在，是怎樣藉助這個單元將intelligence從語言本身的錶意結構投射到社會安排中，把社會本身變成一個知性的function運作的空間。
