是老泽日本小说中最好读的一本，故事也是最好看的一本。也是这本小说奠定了老泽在当代欧美文坛的地位，不过评论界刻意强调大屠杀引导很多一般读者忽略了其他的美感，可惜了。老泽的叙述一直都是相当克制的，但是浓浓的忧郁感真的是要命啊。
