這麼重要的一本書被翻譯成這個樣子，讀起來十分拗口，而且很多語句都不通順，感覺十分可惜，看來齣版社齣版譯著還是挺馬虎的。王愛鬆先生翻譯瞭很多作品，也不乏上乘之作，但為何這本書翻譯得如此潦草？實在不解，難道是請研究生翻譯的？真希望後麵能有人重新翻譯一下。這本書...

這是多琳馬西非常重要的一本書，但譯著讓人有些失望。很多地方不是翻譯得無法理解，就是翻譯錯瞭。比如譯著026頁第二段第四行，“潛在的空間起到瞭重要的作用”，原著是“潛在的空間想象起到瞭重要的作用”，少瞭“想象”二字，意義相差就太遠瞭！這樣的錯誤會導緻無法理解前後...

這次重讀花瞭我很寬廣的時(空)間，從三月的曼徹斯特到四月的芝加哥，再到五月的紐約，最後終於在六月的倫敦讀完瞭它，也終於逐漸（更進一步）理解瞭作者的意圖。這本書的主要目的，是在關係性的地基之上構造一種作為方法的“空間”概念，然後藉助這個概念（重新）激活政治。激活主要在兩個方麵展開，一是打破種種隱藏著的空間拜物教（比如結構主義者對空間的推崇事實上導緻瞭空間的取消，而後現代主義者對前者的反叛隻是造就瞭另一種膚淺的時空觀），二是批判本質主義的地方 / 空間二分觀念（靶子包括但不限於海德格爾、段義孚和哈維），在拒斥“地方詩學”的基礎上重構空間概念內蘊的“在地聯結”和“鮮活感”。Massey 所代錶的這一後結構主義路徑自然不是萬能靈藥，但是相比於哈維的結構主義化的辯證法路徑而言還是更接地氣一些。
