一本对多数社会/人文学科都可能适用的方法论启蒙书。两个技能点：1. 以广泛游历（文献积累）为基础，如何画地图（识别既有的分析现象的原则）；2. 通过玩耍并调整地图，如何发现奇妙岛屿（提问题）。回想一下自己的本科训练，似乎缺了这样一门关于“问题意识”的方法论课，略遗憾。（以及，AA目测是个热爱音乐与恶意卖萌的帅老头，哈哈）

太棒了这本书。虽然是写给本科生看的，但是拿来给博士班做入门方法论都足够。个人非常推崇。如果只能看一本研究方法的书，就素Abbott了！

Abbott真的是很会写书了，能把methods写得这么有意思的人有点少。

除开AA渊博又爱掉书袋以外，全书行文极为流畅，逻辑简单清晰明了，第二章对理论与方法论争辩的归类极好，第三四五章解释创造启发/想象力的方法，第六章又见经典的二分法，还是第七章最为直接有效实用些。一个好的问题和相对应的好想法以及分析问题的多折多层多角度多质疑多反思多阅读，太宝贵了！M
