雖然書名叫準備分鏡圖，但是並不是講分鏡的，概括瞭編劇、分鏡和前期美術的綜閤內容及生産上的相互關係，但每一部分談的並不深入，提到的都是一些要點和竅門，想要係統的掌握，還是需要去看其他專門分類的書。不過這種東西還是應該多實踐，再結閤理論。

失望，敘述的方式很有問題，很多概念不能用平實的語言解釋（這難道不應該是入門級教材最重要的特質之一），行業成功的實例少，學生習作的例子用的太多。對於鏡頭的運用和從劇本轉移到故事版這兩個最關鍵的部分著墨太少一筆帶過。
