三十年後來看，哪幾篇文章大而無當、哪幾篇文章曆久彌新真是一目瞭然。讓人不禁好奇，個體的研究若是想要超越時代的研究範式與整體水平導緻的時效性和局限，到底需要什麼樣的天分與努力。

#三年前讀過其中兩篇 Stephen Owen's “The self's mirror” and Yu-kung Kao's "The aesthetics of regulated verse."記得和advisor討論時她說Owen talks as if he's going to swallow Los Angeles.有同感 今次讀完，最喜歡的是杜維明寫的第一篇。

杜維明、程抱一、劉若愚、宇文所安、孫康宜、林文月、柯慕白、王靖獻、傅漢思、周振甫、林順夫、高友工——論文質量好高啊，很多後來都擴充成很有影響力的專著瞭，程、劉、宇、傅、林文個人很喜歡。#壹柒讀#079 #SOAS
