看完之後發現Stephen Greenblatt那本 Swerve立論完全是跟著這本書來的，隻是加瞭一個挺牽強的主角視角（Poggio Bracciolini找古書）。相比“拐彎”這個比喻，Burkhardt“麵紗”的比喻要簡單、片麵但也有力得多——文藝復興揭開中世紀的紗布，人類個體的麵貌第一次清晰起來。
