（美）希拉•柯伦•伯纳德（Sheila Curran Bernard），著名电影人、作家和顾问，麦克道威尔•科隆尼艺术村和弗吉尼亚中心艺术创作方向研究员，近来供职于普林斯顿大学。她在策划、制作一些由美国国家电视台播映、影院放映、博物馆以及课堂使用的纪录片项目方面经验丰富，作品曾获得艾美奖创作艺术奖、美国广播电视文化成就奖，以及美国历史学家组织设立的埃里克•巴尔诺奖。

本来是同事的推荐 最后栏目制片人作为礼物每人一本 用了一个春节的时间看完的 整体还不错 针对目前很多做纪录片的盲目追求形式 忽略了故事本身 但如果想要更好的掌握编剧 也就是讲故事 建议还是看罗伯特·麦基的《故事》

浅显易懂，从一个很好的角度讲述了如何构思一部纪录片，让自己对纪录片所涉及的有了一个整体的概念。之前试着拍过一些东西，但因为没有一个很好地结构，出来的效果很差。看完这本书感觉很受益，对自己今后如何拍起了一个很好的引导。
