2016.3.22-5.12 實際內容和看之前以為的差得蠻多的，主要還是圍繞著aging和hospice care在講，其實還是大道理都懂，但是麵對起來並沒有那麼容易；第二三章真的看得有點緻鬱，斷斷續續看瞭好久。“old age is not a battle, old age is a massacre ”

深受震撼，希望推薦給每個人的一本書。當生命所剩無幾，你是選擇活到死，還是等到死？A Better Life是全書最光明的一個章節，讀到Thomas把各種動物帶到nursing home裏，他說那些老人laughed their butts off，我在公車上哭著笑瞭。後50%關注絕癥病患，如果說前文的關懷體製在中國很難實現，這一部分講述的一些臨終關懷更有現實意義（在最後究竟什麼對你來說纔是最重要的？）。讀到一半時某次迴傢，奶奶說起隔壁傢老人去瞭颱灣遊玩的趣事。我問她想去嗎，她說可是我去不瞭啊。我說，你好好的，健健康康的多活幾年，我帶你去。我愛我的奶奶，對於一個功利社會來說，她老瞭沒有價值瞭，但我希望她是生活在一個人文社會，即使老瞭，沒有辦法再付齣瞭，還能有尊嚴，用自己覺得舒適的方式走嚮終點。
