果然非常好。因为之前读过不少和性工作相关的研究所以她的很多发现并不能让我觉得耳目一新，关于男性气质的讨论也实在是看得太多只能激起对男性身份的可笑感后的同情（大家都是性别刻板印象的受害者）。但能看出扎实的田野与理论功底如何在行文中相互交融。附录大大加分：民族志作者如何在多个身份中展现不同的自我，并在利用和被利用之间周旋。真诚、批判和反思一个都不缺。

附录简直震撼了…作者正面出场，把田野背后的工作花絮啥的都给一一摆了出来…所以这么好读的故事写出来有多难啊！
