作者 | 柳原漢雅（Hanya Yanagihara），1974年生於洛杉磯，美籍日裔女作傢。1995年於史密斯女子學院畢業後搬至紐約。2015年開始擔任《紐約時報》旗下時尚雜誌《T》主編。《渺小一生》是她的第二部長篇小說，榮獲科剋斯評論文學奬，入圍布剋奬、美國國傢圖書奬、國際IMPAC都柏林文學奬、橘子小說奬等四項文學大奬決選名單。

真正偉大的悲劇全部來自平淡的普通生活，能寫齣存在本身的虛無纔是大師水準。依賴淒慘情節就像言情小說裏層齣不窮的白血病，Jude身世一揭齣來我立刻對這本書失去興趣，本來說像小時代是玩笑話，看到一半發現還真的是小時代路數。

個人年度最差....實在忍不住想吐槽糾結瞭很久，想不好到底看還是不看，豆瓣和goodreads評價都那麼高，又正好在strand看到瞭作者簽名版，咬咬牙，買瞭。慘，的確很慘，殘得我肉疼，但是慘得很沒意思。對主人公jude的心理描寫實在平淡，既然這書的重點是jude這單個角色，其他人的敘述隻是為瞭給讀者一個更全麵的view，jude的心裏描述就應該更突齣，相反，作者把很大一部分“戲份”給瞭其他角色。jude的設定是極有趣的，有很大的挖掘空間，然而作者野心太大，什麼都想寫，導緻什麼都沒寫好 p.s這壓根不是一本gay novel

3.8.前麵很不錯.。開篇的時候真的很驚艷,【然而到最後我隻是粗略的翻完【到結束】】因為後續覺得仍舊有點分配不均的感覺，因為我很不喜歡其中的一個角色╮(╯_╰)╭
